Well well I did something out of character. I made a fool out of myself in front of crowded room. Saturday evening we went out with friends to a Brazilian Barbecue. During the course of the evening they brought out Samba dancers. When they approached the table I kindly offer my friend to dance with her and she said "no way now you have to dance too". Well I did, and it was fun and stupid and I did not fall off the face of the earth from shear embarassment. There was only 1 glass of wine involved so I can't blame it on the booze. Must admit it was fun just to let go and be silly. Guess I should do that a bit more often.I did work on my relaxation, only picking up the broom to clean once. Had my haircut but nothing else because I booked at the last minute. Plus I need to go back in a couple of weeks and have it done for my vacation. Also got a bit of reading in. Have you ever noticed or maybe it's only me but as soon as you get interested in a book whoever is in the room with you all of a sudden becomes a Chatty Cathy. Because it was another lousy day weather wise we rented a video "New In Town" it was odd but cute. On Sunday I spent some time with my Dad, took him for a drive and coffee. Since I wasn't home to prepare lunch and again the weather was bad a for BBQ, DH decided to opt out for chinese food. Afterwards we settled back on the couch and watched "Grand Torino", which was a surprisely good movie. We were almost at the end of the video when we got a call from friends saying they wanted to go to the Theatre to see "The Hangover" and would we like to go. Usually we don't like to go out on Sunday night because of work, but we threw caution to the wind and joined them. It had some funny stuff, but its a guy film for sure.
Now doesn't that sound like a relaxing weekend?

sounds like a blast to me! glad you were able to get some much needed R&R... eric and i really liked 'gran torino' - i think we both shed some tears at one point... and we'll wait for 'the hangover' to come out on DVD, not worth the money for a comedy (action/sci-fi is different)... :)
What fun! Glad you had a neat time.
