I'm a little lost this week having had Wednesday off. Started my day with a visit to the Doctor as I had some blood work done two weeks ago. It seems my sugar levels are out of whack, and I have to go back and be retested with a more indepth test. The first words out of his mouth eat less sugar, "but I don't eat sugar" is what I tell him. As a matter of fact I don't like sugary or sweet things, I don't drink sodas or use sugar in my coffee or tea and I hadn't had any alcohol for over a month. The only thing sweet thing I do eat are fruits and at that I try and limit those to two a day. Goodness me...... diabetic diet here I come. It's all a little perplexing to say the least. Bottom line lose weight!

ugh, sorry about the test results but hopefully the new batch will tell you more... i've stopped using sugar and it hasn't been THAT hard, though i miss it in my coffee (sweetners just aren't the same)...

Did you know that carbs turn into sugar in your body? exactly as if you were eating sugar!! Read up on it - we have been studying this over the last month. Cut the carbs like breads and potato mostly and don't be afraid of eating more protein and fats. It's working for us!
