Dad has an infection in his foot, which after several treatments remains a problem. After having two nuclear scans and finally seeing the infectious disease specialist it was decided to just keep on treating it with antibiotics. It was also suggested that he go back and see the cardiologist because his circulation is part of the problem. He just finished a series of tests with the cardiologist because he has a blocked valved. They determined his condition to be too poor and they could not do anything for him. Guess no one wants to take responsibility and just keep pushing him from one specialist to the next. It goes without saying that no matter how many tests they come up with for him to do he is never going to be a candidate for any procedure. Of course he is beyond frustrated and exhausted. In my opinion other than dialysis there is nothing more they can do for him and they should just let him be. But its up to him to decide what he is willing to do, in the inter um its back and forth to hospital and doctors offices.
Update on my promotional material, it arrived one day early in the midst of a snowstorm. Hurray! There are a few errands that need to be taken care of outside the office today. That leaves no time for surfing.
