Last Minute Details

Next week I'll be spending my days in one of these. This week is all about the loose ends and making sure things go smoothly. Last year the booth never made it to the show, although it had been shipped two weeks ahead of time. Needless to say the Boss was not a happy camper and we had to scramble and come up with a makeshift booth. Thankfully it all turned out well in the end and we came to the conclusion that we no longer needed the added expense or hassle of shipping a booth. I am happy having one less thing to worry about. Still its always a concern that things look good, hopefully the changes we made will be well received. Simple is best when your are bombarded by overwhelming information.

The weekend went well. Went out to supper with a group of friends. Although we had reservations they kept us waiting over 45 minutes and were only seated after 9:30pm. The food was ok and the service more or less sucked. Needless to say we won't be going back there anytime soon. Sunday I got up early and went to the walking clinic. DS came by for lunch later in the afternoon. It was rainy and cool so after he left we just spent the remainder of the day catching up on some programs we recorded.

Tomorrow I have to take my father back to the hospital. To see another round of specialists for his latest problem. Wednesday I'm in a meeting most of the day. Guess I'll be back here on Thursday. See you then.
