The boss is out of town and I'm going to take it relatively easy.  Last night I did all the house work in an attempt to score some down time on the weekend.  Although it is a bit early to plan for the weekend the house should remain relatively clean till then and would require only a quick sweep to chase down the dust bunnies.

Also spent some time doing some plumbing.  A couple of years ago we had the bathroom renovated.  At time we had installed a shower faucet that guards against scalds.  Unfortunately the setting was set extremely low and there was barely any hot water, making showering in the winter very unpleasant.  I couldn't take it anymore, so I did some research and found out that it could be reset.  Once I figured out how to take the end cap off (it's a solid steel ball in which the handle screwed into).  Then figured out that there was a hidden screw in the inside of the ball cap where the handle sat, and I needed a mico mini allen key, it was easy peasy to reset the dial.   Someone's in for a shock next time they take a shower.

Unfortunately with all this mucking around in the house I didn't get out for my walk.  But it was worth it......woohoo for hot showers.
