Stuck In A Rut Of Work Work Work

For one reason or another I've had a ton of extra work these past few weeks. Just when I think I'm done there's another form or something from the Government that needs to be done. Can't seem to find a moment of quiet or calm whether at work or home. What's up with that! Today fingers crossed things will get back on track. OMG I could use a vacation! The kids were back this weekend so the house was very busy. DH and I went into the city on both Saturday and Sunday. We met up for a late supper with friends on Saturday and hung out till after midnight. Sunday we headed back on into the city to DS apartment to fix a window. Afterwards we all went out to brunch by the time that was done it was near to 3 pm. Came home said our goodbyes to the little guy and his Dad, DD stayed on an extra day for work. At the end of the day we hit the couch for some mindless quiet time and the Golden Globes. Monday it was off to the races yet again. Today I do believe things will return to a more regular routine.
